Sunday Services
Our services are at 11:00am every Sunday. Communion is an important part of our worship and is normally celebrated on the second Sunday morning. We invite all visitors who follow Jesus to take communion.
Our services are relaxed and informal. We enjoy singing songs both old and new and we are accompanied by a pipe organ and piano, so we tend to have a traditional approach.
Very occasionally, we change these arrangements for joint services with other churches or around Christmas. We endeavour to publicise these so people do not come to a closed church. Please check the Calendar and Find us.
Some time is often found each month to receive news and pray for one of the organisations of our mission interest.
Sunday Club
On the first and third Sundays of each month, our Sunday Club gives teaching to our children and young people. They join the congregation for the opening of the morning service, which usually includes a Family Talk for all ages. Then they leave the service with their teachers and helpers for classes.
We have strict practices for safeguarding. Please click here to read our general policy statement and here to see our practice of supervision.
Prayer and Bible Study
On alternate Wednesdays, we hold a prayer meeting and a Bible Study, which usually follows a course. Please check our Calendar for dates for this week. The prayer meetings are in the Parlour and all are welcome.
House Group
This meets informally at church members' homes for Bible study, prayer and developing friendships. The times are shown in the Calendar, but, for privacy and security reasons, we do not advertise the addresses of house groups on this site. Please ask at the church on a Sunday or contact us.
Chatterbox
A chance to meet up for simply anything -chat, play games, do craft work, poetry, book reading, singing with tea/coffee & delicious homemade cakes.
We meet on alternate Wednesdays (except August) in the Parlour - please check the dates in our Calendar. Please click here to contact us.
"Breakfast on the Hill"
These are normally held on the first Saturday of March, June, August (special), September and December from 10:00am until 12:00 noon. These are an opportunity for people to come together and chat in small groups. It is an excellent way to meet new people in the community of Foots Cray and Sidcup.
The Bible encourages us to meet together and we believe that not only applies to times of worship but also to socialising and informal meetings.
There is no charge for a breakfast, but there is an opportunity for you to give as much as you like towards church funds that support our ministry.
